Cadence Health LLC is committed to transparent, fair billing practices. This refund policy outlines when refunds may be issued for our telemedicine services.
Consultation Fees
Initial Consultation ($249)
- Full Refund Available: If cancelled more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment
- Partial Refund (50%): If cancelled within 24 hours but before the appointment begins
- No Refund: After the consultation has commenced, as physician time and expertise have been provided
Follow-Up Visits ($199)
- Full Refund Available: If cancelled more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment
- Partial Refund (50%): If cancelled within 24 hours but before the appointment begins
- No Refund: After the consultation has commenced
Special Circumstances
Medical Ineligibility
If our physician determines during your initial consultation that you are not a suitable candidate for GLP-1 therapy due to medical contraindications, you will receive a full refund of your consultation fee.
Service Unavailability
If we cannot provide services due to:
- Loss of medical licensure in your state
- Inability to prescribe in your jurisdiction
- Technical failures preventing consultation delivery
You will receive a full refund of any unused consultation fees.
Dissatisfaction with Service
If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your consultation within the first 7 days, we will work with you to address concerns. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
What We Don't Refund
Medication Costs
We do not refund medication costs, as:
- Medications are dispensed by third-party pharmacies
- We do not sell, ship, or directly provide medications
- Medication refunds must be handled directly with your pharmacy or insurance provider
Treatment Outcomes
We do not guarantee specific weight loss results. Refunds are not provided based on:
- Amount of weight lost or not lost
- Speed of weight loss
- Individual response to medication
Insurance Coverage Changes
Refunds are not provided if:
- Your insurance coverage changes after treatment begins
- Prior authorization is denied by your insurance
- You choose to discontinue due to medication costs
Refund Process
How to Request a Refund
- Contact us within 7 days of your consultation
- Provide your consultation date and reason for refund request
- Allow 5-10 business days for review
- If approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
Refund Timeline
- Review Period: 5-10 business days
- Processing Time: 5-10 business days after approval
- Total Time: Up to 20 business days from request to account credit
Recurring Payments and Cancellation
While we don't currently offer subscription services, if you have scheduled multiple appointments:
- You may cancel future appointments with 24+ hours notice for full refund
- Cancelling your treatment plan does not entitle you to refunds for completed consultations
Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a refund decision:
- Contact our billing department for reconsideration
- Escalate to management if needed
- Disputes may be subject to arbitration as outlined in our Terms of Service
