Director, Manufacturing & Technical Operations

Nitu is responsible for technology transfer of Cadence’s drug products, managing contract manufacturers, and authoring the manufacturing sections of regulatory filings.  She has over 15 years of leadership experience within the pharma and biopharmaceutical industries with deep expertise in process development, pilot plant, and manufacturing operations.  Nitu has held multiple management positions with increasing responsibilities and her broad experience at Medimmune (Aviron), Genentech, Amgen (Abgenix) and Boehringer Ingelheim gives her a diverse and unique perspective to anticipate and resolve needs and challenges during the drug development process.   She holds a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology/Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
